The client wanted their web app to transition into a native mobile app, but the existing design presented challenges for mobile usability. The interface lacked the refinement needed for smaller screens, making navigation less intuitive for users. Additionally, the visual elements were dated, and the design didn’t fully capture the app’s potential to connect with a modern, mobile-first audience. These limitations highlighted the need for a more focused and adaptive approach to align with the shift to mobile.

The redesign focused on optimizing the app for mobile use, with an updated UI that improved both aesthetics and functionality. Playful graphics were integrated to add personality, while the overall design maintained a professional and approachable tone. Navigation was streamlined for smaller screens, ensuring that users could easily access key features with minimal effort. This mobile-first approach combined a modern, updated UI with engaging visuals and intuitive navigation, creating a seamless, user-friendly experience for on-the-go users.

Updating the UI of the financial calculators, along with revising the directions for each, significantly improved the user experience. The clearer, more concise instructions helped users better understand how to use the tools, while the updated design made the process feel more intuitive. These changes allowed users to interact with the calculators more efficiently and confidently, ultimately making the tools more accessible and effective.

The client was so impressed with the updated UX and UI that they asked me to apply similar improvements across the entire web app. They wanted the platform to have a more cohesive and user-friendly design, so I worked on refining the interface to ensure consistency throughout. This involved streamlining navigation, updating the visual elements, and creating a more modern aesthetic. As a result, the app became more intuitive and efficient, offering users a smoother, more engaging experience overall.
